Christina's Authentic Mexican Food Restaurant in Mesa

Been here many times throughout my childhood and everything tastes delicious!! The owners are so sweet and work hard to bring you fresh tasty food.

Excellent Mexican food. Highly recommend this small place. Prices are good but it is hard to find.

Great little hole in the wall Mexican Food joint. Had the green chili and pork burrito which had great flavor and the burrito didn't fall apart. Had a nice spice to it and tasted freshly made. Also had the five taquitos with chicken with cheese. We paired it up with a large drink. Was able to have a nice lunch date for under $20.

Awesome! I got the Enchilada Combo for under 10$ Came with 3 enchiladas with rice and beans! and they were so friendly! Yes I'll for sure be going back

There isn't a good enough word to use to describe this place! The food is absolutely amazing, and served by the nicest people you will ever meet! I cant believe I'm going to even mention filebertos in this post, but if you like the carne asada fries from there, the carne asada fries at Christina's will CHANGE YOUR LIFE! Strongly encourage all to try!

This place is not authentic whatsoever if you’re craving carñe Asada don’t come here cause you’ll be disappointed plus the burrito was so tiny for it to be 8$

10/10. Owner had 20 copies of a "shell shock live" but the food was good. Tasted slightly of cats though...

The most authentic Mexican food I have had since I was a little girl! The owners are super sweet too. My 7 year old daughter absolutely loved it too! My dad had a nostalgic moment while eating there food! We will definitely be returning!

It was delicious and fresh. The tables and kitchen are so clean I thought they just opened. I was greeted warmly and patiently as they explained some entrees. You can tell them how mild or spicy you want it. I loved it and I didn’t even get heartburn! We are going to try the homemade empanadas next time but will call first to make sure they’re not out.

Chips- incredibly light and crunchy.Salsa- perfect heat.Horchata- exact balance of cinnamon and rice milk.Chimi with rice/beans- heavenly.SERVICE- impeccable! I’ve never felt like a queen at a restaurant, but the owner acted like I was the only one there and that my order mattered. I’ll be a regular here now!

Neighborhood treasure. Seats about 25 - small but efficient. Restrooms are clean. No Wifi but you are going to be to busy eating to care. The food quality rivals the finest restaurants. Tamales are made fresh.We had carne asada burrito and a Machaca chimi. We added 1 red Chile pork tamale to try. All was wonderful, fresh and hot.If you need a place for a tasty.lunch, this is it.

We searched for the best authentic shredded beef tacos in Mesa, Az. We found Christina’s and we’ve been coming for 7 years now and every single time it’s been perfect and consistently good. The salsa and fresh chips are second to none and the shredded beef soft tacos are the best in the world. We will continue to return every time we come to Mesa. Thank you from you’re biggest Canadian fans.

I order a bean and cheese burrito only to take a bite and discovered canned beans...yuck! If advertising authentic Mexican, please make fresh beans...canned beans 👎👎👎

Love this place. Family owned and operated. Very friendly, you feel like part of the family. Christina's prices are great. She makes everything from scratch. Tamales, soups, burritos, tacos, rice and beans and so much more. Shredded beef, carne asada, chicken, and shrimp. Salsa and chips at no charge when you dine in. I love Christina's. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant.

Hands down these guys are amazing! The customer service exhibited by the manager was beyond impeccable and left me very impressed. Seldom do Mexican restaurants offer aguas frescas in glass here in AZ however, this place does. The food was great and had very very reasonable prices in comparison. I will definitely be back

This is small location for some real Authentic Mexican Food.. I hear the place has been in business for about 14 years.. so i have heard.. The food hits the spot on spice, tortillas, abandongas, caldo de res, tamales, empandadas, frijoles, rice tacos and so much more.. but dont take my word for it, go check it out for urself.. get the hook up with pricing.. meaning for me the prices are reasonable.. what more do u want.. the people are very respectful, and kindness like no other.. Loved it..

Incredible food taste amazing the guy who took my order is super friendly and welcoming when you come in and order I ordered 2 bean and cheese burritos and a breakfast burrito it was great have never been here but worth the 20 minute drive just to get food I will be back for sure!

Christina's is amazing. Tastes like home cooked Mexican food. Christina and her family are extremely friendly. I have been going here since they opened and I always make it a point to stop in when I am near my parents house. They always take care of me and even make alterations to the menu for my family from time to time.

The tostada was not crunchy and the taco Bowl for the taco salad was not crunchy. Both were chewy. Everything else was great though. My family will be back

The food is excellent fresh made and well priced . They have different specials every day. Dont let the little restaurant fool you the food is delicious. Be careful to pick the right one because another Mexican restaurant set up right beside

I know everyone has a different recipe for traditional dishes no matter what culture. The recipes at this restaurant are a little unique. Overall not necessarily bad food but I did find a piece of metal shaving in my food. I'm sure it's probably not typical but as for this review it was definitely not a great experience and I probably won't be going back again.

Picking up some movies and decided to have lunch at Christina's as the reviews were very good! We were not disappointed...😄reasonable prices, our meals were fantastic. That was the best Chimmichanga I have ever had, medium heat with green Verde sauce. The sides of rice and refried beans were flavourful and just the right amount. Gracias to Christina's staff and cooks.We will be back. 👍🌮

Highly recommended, truly authentic Mexican food! Their food is house made, even their tamales, and you can taste the difference. My favorite is their plant based green corn tamales. Some tamales are almost tasteless other than the filling, but these taste like fresh flavorful corn complimented by the filling of cheese and peppers. It is spicy, but not too spicy. They have just enough heat for flavor. The restaurant is somewhat small and fairly plain, but very clean. The service and food was excellent. They truly care about the quality of their food and want to make their customers happy. Everything that they have is available for take out as well. Enjoy!

This place has the best tamales anywhere. We live in New Mexico and have had a lot of different tamales. Hands down these are the best pork tamales. We will be back.

Went here today with my family and it was very delicious.. My middle boy who always wastes most of his plate actually ate everything on his plate and ate the last bit from his dads plate too.. Everything we had was very good and the chips and salsa are the best around I have found so far.. Definitely will be returning and will recommend to others.. The staff are very friendly and very on top of it...

Having been here several times I'm surprised I haven't written a review yet. One of the staples here in Tucson which has been around forever and never fails!! I've come on different days at different times & I've always gotten the best & most flavorful hotdogs & fresh & hot crispy French fries.

Good food. Very nice people. I look forward to comong back and trying more of the menu. Just walked in off the street and was greeted by a nice gentlemen behind the counter. The chips are warm and the salsa is fresh. I had the taquitos with guacamole.
